So last night I saw Jack Peñate & Miike Snow. I had never heard more than one Jack Peñate song until that night, but I was pleasantly surprised. He kept me entertained with dancing and very catchy sing-a-long lyrics. Being so influenced from last night, I'm listening to him right now. Miike Snow came on about an hour later and Toronto showed them quite a warm welcome. "Animal" was clearly the crowd favourite, but I have to say, mine was "Plastic Jungle". Their spacey electro sound comes alive in a concert setting. Much better than in my headphones. Even though Wrongbar is apparently inside the center of the earth, I had a very interesting night, and an enjoyable experience with Miike.
